Correct series counts: 12V=4S, 24V=8S, 36V=12S, 48V=16S. Each cell is individually protected by the BMS and temperature sensors.
Are Green Marine Lithium batteries really Australian made?
Yes. Our batteries are officially Australian Made and tested for local conditions.
What makes Green Marine Lithium batteries different from other brands?

Do you offer lithium custom builds or only standard sizes?
Both. We stock 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V models aligned with AS/NZS 3001 & 3004 and also build customs for utes, kayaks, boats, caravans, off-grid and emergency services (e.g., 12V 530Ah).
Do you ship your lithium batteries Australia-wide?
Yes. We freight as Dangerous Goods with safe packaging and tracking, or via our approved installer network for local supply and installation.
Can Green Marine Lithium batteries be repaired if something goes wrong?
Yes. Our Australian-built batteries are designed to be repairable. We service, repair and rebalance locally to reduce waste.
Do I need a battery box?
No. Our batteries are IP67 waterproof, rugged, and exceed AS/NZS 3001 & 3004, so they can be safely installed without a separate box.
How do I monitor my Green Marine Lithium battery?
Use the GML BMS App (Apple and Google Play) via Bluetooth, or add the optional Wi-Fi module to monitor from anywhere. New in-dash gauges show SOC, voltage, current, remaining capacity and temperature with audible/visual alarms, aligned to AS/NZS 3004.2:2014.
Does it meet AS/NZS 3004.2:2014 for marine insurance?
Yes. GML batteries exceed AS/NZS 3004.2:2014, are Australian Made, IEC 62619 certified, and IP67 waterproof.
How long will a Green Marine Lithium battery run my boat or RV?
Depends on your load, but most customers report multiple days without recharging. We build to true Ah ratings with correctly sized cells.
Why do some lithium batteries not deliver their advertised Ah?
Some brands use undersized cells. GML uses correctly rated LiFePO4 prismatic cells so you get the true capacity you paid for.
Battery Troubleshooting FAQs
My battery has gone flat (over-discharged). How do I return it for charging and rebalancing?

Since our batteries are lithium, returns must be declared as Dangerous Goods and packed with proper padding for safe shipping.
If you would like technical support before arranging the return of your battery for assessment, email info@greenmarinelithium.com with a description plus photos of the battery, installation, wiring, and charging setup.
Important: Evaluation time can vary.
– Repairs for intentional damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear proceed only after you approve a quote.
– If no issues are found, you will be charged for labor (assessment, disassembly/reassembly) and shipping fees.
– If the product is simply over-discharged and needs charging/rebalancing, a technician fee of $120 per hour plus shipping will apply.

I am having trouble connecting to the GML App. What should I do?
First check:
1) You have installed the latest updates for the GML BMS App.
2) Your device is not paired with any other Bluetooth devices during the process.
